Purchasing and Shipping

I want you to be very happy with your purchase, if you have any questions, please contact me in advance at carly@carlygilliatt.com

How is payment taken?

Payment is made in British Pounds Sterling, through Paypal or Stripe which accepts debit and credit cards and Apple Pay.

It is also possible to pay by bank transfer, which some people prefer and means I am not charged any fees.  Email me at carly@carlygilliatt.com if this is of interest.

Is it possible to pay in instalments?

Yes, this would involve paying a deposit and then 1 or 2 instalments (this would have to be agreed in advance), the painting would be dispatched when the payment has been made in full.  If this is something that interests you, please contact me at carly@carlygilliatt.com

How soon will I receive my painting?

I will package and ship your painting within 7 days of sale.  You will receive an email to say it has been dispatched.

I live locally, is it possible to collect my painting?

Yes, that is absolutely fine, use the code COLLECT at checkout to remove the shipping fee, I will email you to arrange collection.

I am interested in a painting but there is no shipping information to my country, can I buy a painting?

Contact me at carly@carlygilliatt.com, I will get back to you with a quote.

My painting has been damaged in transit, what should I do?

I make sure all work is very carefully packaged, if you receive something that has been damaged, contact me straightaway and take a photograph of the damage.

Would you consider a commission?

If you love my work but would like something a bit more personal, contact me and we can discuss a commission.

Returns

I want your painting to be something you treasure for a long time, if you decide you have made the wrong decision please get in touch within 7 days of delivery.  You will need to carefully repackage the painting and arrange tracked delivery back to me at your own cost, within 14 days.

Unfortunately I cannot accept returns from overseas.

Every care has been taken to show the colours of the artwork as accurately as possible, however viewing on different screens and devices there may be a slight variation in the online image.  This is not a reason for return.  I have only found that on receiving a painting people appreciate even more the texture, depth of colour and detail.
